European Movement in Montenegro

Basic Information 

Goals:

•  Protection and respect of human rights and freedoms; promoting justice, mutual respect and tolerance as basic principles of European Integrations;

•  Promoting understanding and cooperation among people, communities and states;

•  Supporting multilateral and free communications in areas of culture, information, economics and politics;

•  Propagating ideas, standards and principles of European Integrations in Montenegro ;

•  Engaging individuals, associations and organizations as well as the general public of Montenegro in the processes of consolidation of democratic institution, enhancing equality among people and their communities and implementing ideas, standards and principles which are of fundamental value in the European Union.

Activities:
European Movement in Montenegro acts to promote and disseminate European ideas and practices in Montenegro , encouraging cultural, economic and political cooperation in Europe through:

•  Organising promotional and propaganda activities;

•  Education

•  Publishing activities

•  Research

•  Instituting and developing a network of collaborators and regional offices in Montenegro

•  Various social activities

•  Cooperation with the NGO sector on the national, regional and European level

•  Cooperation with other social sectors in the country and abroad

•  Other activities which are necessary in fulfilling the goals of the European Movement of Montenegro

According to Article 10 of the European Movement in Montenegro Statute, constitutive elements of the Movement are:

•  Board of Counsellors
